After 6,179 days, Levski Sofia has once again lifted the Bulgarian title, marking their 27th championship. The trophy was presented to the team by the President of the Bulgarian Football Federation and club legend, Georgi Ivanov-Gonzo, in front of nearly 20,000 fans at their home ground, "Gergana."

The title and gold medals were awarded to the team following a match against Ludogorets, the reigning champions. Levski lost this particular match 1-0, but their overall performance in the season secured their championship status.

The Razgrad fans handed over the title to Levski, though this gesture was purely symbolic. Celebrations at "Gergana" continued as fans flooded the field to celebrate with the players.

The ceremony saw the new champions receive their long-awaited trophy on stage, accompanied by a drone show. The drones spelled out iconic phrases for Levski, the silhouette of club legend Georgi Asparuhov-Gundi, and the newly won title. The players also showed gratitude to their coach, Julio Velasquez, by spelling out "Vamos Don Julio" and "Gracias Julio" with the drones.

The event was attended by former majority owner Nasco Sirakov, his wife Iliana Raeva, and their two daughters. The new owner, Atanas Bostandzhiev, and the club's executive director, Daniel Borimirov, were also present.

The players of Levski emerged one by one from the tunnel to the cheers of the fans. Captain Georgi Kostadinov was the last to emerge, receiving a check from the club's general manager for 613,550 euros and then the trophy after a warm embrace with Sirakov.

The lifting of the trophy was followed by a spectacular fireworks show. As soon as the new champions raised the trophy, the fans poured onto the field in celebration, creating a true carnival atmosphere.

The team of Julio Velasquez solidified their title in the previous round. After a 1-0 victory over CSKA 1948, Levski became untouchable at the top of the league.

This is Levski's first title won at their home stadium since 2009, on June 8. At that time, the team received their trophy after securing the championship in the previous round.
