Lando Norris Confirms He Planned to Test an Electric Formula E Car

Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has disclosed that he intended to test an electric Formula E car during the Monaco E-Prix. The McLaren driver shared this information while visiting the event as a guest.

Norris visited his colleague Jake Dennis and the Andretti team in Formula E and greeted several other drivers from the electric car championship on the starting grid. However, he was not the only Formula 1 driver present at the Monaco track during the event. Other attendees included Gabriel Baptista, Carlos Sainz, Nico Hülkenberg, and Oliver Bearman, along with former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner.

"I grew up with many of the drivers who now compete in Formula E - Norris explained to the official site of the world championship. - The level of drivers in Formula E is very high; it can't get any better. I enjoy watching races featuring some of the best drivers in the world."
