Cuba has labeled the new sanctions announced by the United States as "illegal" and "abusive," escalating tensions between the two nations, according to France Press. The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong disapproval, stating that these unilateral coercive measures are unjust and further strain the already tense relationship.
“The government of the United States is concerned and responds with new unilateral coercive measures, which are illegal and abusive, against Cuba,” declared Bruno Rodríguez, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The latest round of sanctions has heightened diplomatic tensions between Cuba and the United States, with Cuba firmly rejecting any form of economic coercion and asserting its sovereignty.
