Turkish football star Kenan Yıldız expressed his deep love for Turkey in a recent interview with the "Ayın Tarihi" magazine published by the Presidency Communication Bureau. Yıldız, who was born in Germany, emphasized his connection to Turkey, saying, "I feel at home here; this is my country."

Yıldız, who is 21 years old, shared his journey from playing in the streets of Germany to his transfer to Juventus and his choice to play for the Turkish national team. He highlighted the support he received from his family, which played a significant role in his development as a player. "My family gave me everything. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today," he said.

Yıldız also discussed his decision to play for the Turkish national team. "I chose Turkey because I love it. I feel at home here, and I want to play for the Turkish national team," he emphasized. He also recalled the memorable match against Austria in the 2024 UEFA European Championship, saying, "The match against Austria was amazing. The feelings and work we put in were incredible, and I will never forget that."

On his transfer to Juventus, Yıldiz expressed his satisfaction, stating that Juventus offered him the best sports option. "I feel at home and secure at Juventus. Everyone around me is great, and the club has kept its promises. I am very happy with where I am and where I am going," he said.

Looking to the future, Yıldiz expressed his ambition to win the Ballon d'Or and achieve numerous titles. "I want to win as many cups as possible, have a great career, and stay healthy," he concluded.
