The new coach of Kalamata, Panagiotis Christophilas, is not enthusiastic about acquiring free agent Lindsley Rouz. Rouz, who has a long history with Ares and over 160 appearances in the Super League, is currently free. Although he has been proposed to Kalamata, the club is still hesitant about the signing. Christophilas, who recently took over as coach of the team, appears to have reservations about bringing Rouz to the squad, preferring to seek a better fit for the defensive midfield position. Kalamata is looking to strengthen their team with players who meet the league's standards and have the required experience.
