Trendyol Süper Lig's 34th and final week saw Alanyaspor lose 2-1 to Fatih Karagümrük in away play. After the match, Alanyaspor's technical director João Pereira highlighted their aim to elevate the team to a higher level next season.

Pereira addressed the media at Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium following the match. He admitted that the team did not perform well, stating, "Unfortunately, we couldn't win today. We didn't perform well enough. We actually started the game well and controlled it. We scored our goal through some luck with Meschack. The first goal we conceded in the second half was a position we worked on all season. Players often can't be motivated well in such matches. We shouldn't concede such goals at the Süper Lig level. After that, a penalty was awarded. It was most likely the correct decision. We didn't give our opponents too many positions. We changed to a defensive system and tried to score. We weren't good enough to win."

The Portuguese coach concluded by emphasizing his intention to improve next season, stating, "We need to learn from our mistakes for next season. Now is the time to rest. I will aim for more next season. I will be tougher. I will work to elevate Alanyaspor to a higher level. I thank my players. Overall, they performed well. This was the first time I have managed a professional team for the entire season. It was a learning experience."
