Zaprešić is once again living its football dream. NK Inker, a club that rose from the ashes of a former top-flight team under its legendary name, continues its rapid ascent back to the big leagues. By winning the title in the Third Croatian Football League - Center, the popular 'ceramic workers' secured their third consecutive promotion in just three years of competition. This confirms that the story of the Zaprešić football miracle is not a fluke but the result of clear vision and great enthusiasm.

Chronology of an Unbelievable Rise

The new Inker’s journey began humbly but ambitiously. After the club was founded in July 2022, primarily to preserve and continue the work of the famous Inter football school, the senior team began competing in the 2023/2024 season. They started from the lowest rung of Croatian football, the sixth tier, or the county football league. They stayed there for only one season, impressively winning the title with 76 points, 18 more than the second-place Turopolje, with a remarkable goal difference of 127-14. The rise continued in the 2024/2025 season in the Fourth NL Zagreb. Despite tougher competition, Inker was once again the best, securing the title with a two-point lead over Vrbovec and thus clearing another significant hurdle. This season, in the Third NL - Center, the story repeated itself.
