Hajduk's Pioneers and Dinamo's Cadets Win Croatian Titles

The final round of the youth league championships decided the champions for the younger age groups. As usual, the titles were shared between Croatia's two major clubs. Hajduk's Pioneers maintained their lead and celebrated at Poljud, while Dinamo's Cadets clinched their title with a solid victory in Osijek, ending a tense season in both competitions.

Hajduk's Pioneers Secure Title with Dominant Performance

The team led by coach Roko Španjić entered the final round with a one-point lead over Dinamo and a clear plan: victory against Ruđer in their home stadium would secure the title. The young Hajduk players showed no hesitation, taking the lead with Mihovil Žilić scoring in the fourth minute and Toma Vukas doubling the lead in the 15th minute.

The question of who would win was settled by halftime when Žilić scored again in the 36th minute, giving Hajduk an insurmountable lead. Vjeran Mihanović sealed the 4-0 victory in the second half. The celebrations were even more significant as Dinamo's match ended in a 2-2 draw, increasing Hajduk's lead to three points.

Dinamo's Cadets Confirm Dominance in Osijek

In contrast to the Pioneers, Dinamo's Cadets entered the final round with a more comfortable lead of three points over Hajduk. A single point from their match against Osijek would have been enough to secure the title. However, the team led by coach Tomislav Mikulić demonstrated a winning mindset, sealing the title with a 3-0 victory.

The outcome was decided in the first half, with Marin Nekić scoring in the 30th minute, followed by Adriano Debelec's goal four minutes later. Nekić scored again just before halftime to set the final score. Hajduk's unexpected home loss to Ruđer only increased Dinamo's lead to six points.
