Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made statements following the celebrations for the club's 26th championship title in the Trendyol Süper Lig. The president, who arrived at the Galatasaray Club Association's local with the championship trophy, addressed the press.

"We gathered at our stadium today to celebrate our 26th championship. It was a fantastic celebration with our fans present and the stadium packed. We enjoyed the atmosphere and celebrated the 26th championship and four consecutive titles. I wish happiness to everyone in the community. The celebrations will continue. I would like to thank our fans, the technical team, the players, and the entire community. This happiness is a result of our unity, love, and a climate of affection. Congratulations to all Galatasaray fans, and may they enjoy celebrating the 26th championship," Özbek said.

The president also mentioned that they would meet with Mauro Icardi, whose contract has ended, stating that Icardi is a player they love and an icon who has given much to Galatasaray.

In response to the absence of a TFF official at the trophy presentation at RAMS Park, Özbek said, "I don’t know, they didn’t come. We waited, they didn’t come."

Özbek announced that they have already begun preparations for the new season with the goal of winning the 27th championship. "Our goal is the 27th championship. We have already started our preparations. Inshallah, this season, we will celebrate the 27th championship at our stadium and then bring it home to our community. Today, we are celebrating the 26th championship. Our community is everything to us, where Galatasaray was born. We will share our happiness with our brothers here."

Metin Sinan Aslan, the club association president, noted that it is a tradition for the trophy to come to the community and expressed hope for greater European success next year.
