As Fenerbahçe prepares for its elections on June 6-7, candidates Aziz Yıldırım and Hakan Safi have been making significant moves, particularly in the realm of technical leadership and star players. However, a stunning revelation has surfaced in the Portuguese press regarding Fenerbahçe's intentions.

According to the reputable Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola, Fenerbahçe is planning to reunite with its former coach, Jorge Jesus, who is reportedly nearing a split with Saudi team Al-Nassr.

The experienced coach, who is expected to leave Al-Nassr, is reportedly the top priority for Aziz Yıldırım, one of Fenerbahçe's presidential candidates. Yıldırım is said to have offered Jesus a yearly salary of 15 million euros, which would be a record-breaking amount in Super Lig history if the contract is signed.

RECORD-BREAKING OFFER ON THE TABLE

If the deal goes through, the proposed salary would not only be a new high point for Jorge Jesus but also set a new record for the Super Lig. Jesus, who coached Fenerbahçe in the 2022-23 season, ended the campaign with a second-place finish in the Super Lig and secured the Turkish Cup for the club.
