Alexandru Purcaru, a player from FCU Craiova, was present at the title match between Universitatea Craiova and Universitatea Cluj. The football stadium turned into a true Maracana on Sunday, with Oltenians hoping for a title win after 35 years. The event, much like in 1991, culminated with Universitatea Cluj winning the match 5-0. The "Ion Oblemenco" stadium was packed for the big match between Universitatea Craiova and Universitatea Cluj, where Alexandru Purcaru, 16 years old, was among the spectators. He was there with his father, and they even took photos during the celebration of the rival team's victory. Purcaru's father later posted the photos on his Facebook page.

Alexandru Purcaru, who signed a four-year contract with FCU Craiova last year, has become a fan of the current Romanian champions. A year ago, Adrian Mititelu, the owner of FCU, praised the young player on his Facebook page, saying, "He could be a great star for Romania in a few years! Everything depends on him, he has a lot of talent!"

Alexandru Purcaru, 16, has already made his debut for the senior team of FCU Craiova in a Cup match against Fărcășești. He also made his league debut against Academica Balș in a 0-0 draw in August.
