Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek outlined the club's strategic plans for the upcoming 2026-2028 period at an event held on Galatasaray Island. Özbek introduced the candidate management, control, discipline, and record boards for the ordinary general assembly to be held on May 23.

Özbek highlighted the club's accomplishments from the previous 2022-2026 term, including real estate projects in Aslantepe Valley, Florya, Kemerburgaz, Galatasaray Island, Riva, and Mecidiyeköy. The club also achieved significant sporting successes, with the men's football team winning its 26th championship after securing three records.

Özbek emphasized the importance of amateur branches, where the club has nurtured many young talents and achieved numerous cups and medals. He stated, "We are determined to take these branches to a new level with Aslantepe Valley."

"We must now be a global sports organization," Özbek declared. He shared the club's vision of becoming a global sports brand, aiming to achieve 150 million digital followers, become one of the world's top 15 clubs financially, and generate 600 million euros in annual revenue. The goal is to have a team that consistently performs well in the Champions League.

Özbek announced seven strategic programs for the new era, including stadium and Aslantepe revenue and experience economy. "We aim to transform Aslantepe into one of Istanbul's important lifestyle centers where everyone can experience Galatasaray," he said. The second program involves increasing commercial and sponsorship revenues.
