Dramatic Video Emerges of Croatia Airlines Incident in Split
A Croatia Airlines flight from Split to Frankfurt veered off the runway during takeoff on Saturday, causing shock among passengers but no injuries. The Airbus A220-300 plane skidded off the tarmac and onto the grassy area adjacent to the runway.
Darko Petrin, the head investigator of the Croatian Agency for the Investigation of Accidents in Air, Maritime, and Rail Transport, stated that the investigation is still in its early stages. Extensive technical analyses are being conducted to determine the cause of the incident.
Petrin confirmed that the initial on-site investigation has concluded, but key investigative activities are still ongoing, including the analysis of data from the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and the flight data recorder (FDR), also known as the black boxes. These devices have already been removed and are currently being processed.
The damage to the plane is minimal, with only the front section of the landing gear and minor damage to the left engine reported. No passengers or crew members were injured during the incident.
Discussions with the crew will take place in the coming days, and the aircraft manufacturer and other expert institutions will be involved in the investigation to gather and correlate all relevant data.

This is a wake-up call for Croatia Airlines! Can we trust their safety measures anymore? What's next? A full investigation is the only way to restore confidence. Let's hope they take this seriously.
