The highly anticipated match between Dinamo and Hajduk will take place on Saturday at 4 PM at Maksimir Stadium. The Croatian Interior Ministry (MUP) has declared this match a high-risk game, and special traffic regulations will be enforced. The stadium gates will open at 2 PM for the northern and western stands, and at 1:30 PM for the southern stand, reserved for visiting fans.
On the day of the match, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 4 PM, the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb will host the SuperSport Croatian Football League match between GNK Dinamo and HNK Hajduk. The police have designated this match as a high-risk game and will take all necessary safety measures throughout the day. To maintain order and ensure a smooth match, special traffic regulations will be in place. No alcohol will be sold or consumed within the stadium.
Traffic Regulations:
On Friday, May 8, from 4 PM to 8 PM, the following areas will be closed to traffic:
- The parking lot in front of the western stand of Maksimir Stadium
- Borongaj driving school grounds
- Svetice pool parking lot
- Parking lot from Bacač disc monument to the western parking lot of Maksimir Stadium
- Divka Budaka Street from the parking lot V. zone (park & ride) to the Svetice pool
- Hitrecova Street and parking lot on Hitrecova Street
- Northwestern Ekonomski Fakultet parking lot, J. F. Kennedy Square
- External area (park & ride) of the V. zone parking lot next to the Borongaj terminal (former Borongaj market)
The southern stand gates for visiting fans will be open at 2 PM, and earlier if needed, starting at 1:30 PM. Visitor fans arriving by bus will be received at the checkpoints Lučko, Jastrebarsko, and the eastern entrances to Zagreb, and then transported to the Borongaj hub under police supervision.
Laws and Regulations:
At the stadium entrances, security will conduct thorough checks. According to Croatian laws, it is prohibited to bring alcohol, drugs, pyrotechnics, weapons, and items that could cause harm or disorder into the stadium. Fans must not cover their faces, wear or display discriminatory symbols, or sing songs or chant messages that promote hate or violence. Personalized tickets are required, and entry will be denied to those under the influence of alcohol or suspected of posing a threat to safety.
The police will be recording and photographing public gatherings and areas around the stadium and nearby streets. Attendees are advised to follow the organizers' instructions and comply with police orders.
