Dea Emilova Secures Two Titles at National Artistic Gymnastics Championships

Dea Emilova from club Akademik secured two gold medals in the senior girls' division of the Elite category Maria Gigova Trophy, held at the Sofia Sports Hall. Emilova triumphed in the vault and uneven bars events.

In the vault competition, Emilova achieved a perfect score of 26.800 points, securing the gold medal. Second place went to Alexandra Petrova from Iliana with 26.600 points, while the bronze medal was taken by Antoneta Tsankova from Avangard with 26.150 points. Other notable performances came from Anastasia Ponomarenko, Radina Staynova, Ava Makazchieva, Sofia Dimova, and Viktoriya Dzhelybova.

In the uneven bars event, Emilova once again demonstrated her dominance with a score of 26.950 points. The silver medal went to Alexandra Petrova with 26.000 points, and Sofia Dimova from Iliana took the bronze with 25.250 points.

Alexandra Petrova claimed the top spot in the balance beam with a score of 26.725 points. The silver medal was won by Anastasia Ponomarenko from Grace with 26.000 points, and Antoneta Tsankova took third place with 25.500 points.

In the floor exercise, Anastasia Ponomarenko emerged as the champion with a score of 25.350 points. The silver medals were shared by Antoneta Tsankova and Alexandra Petrova, who both scored 25.225 points.

The finals for the women's division are yet to come.
