Regional rock star Darko Rundek performed a mini-concert today in central Belgrade, on Knez Mihailova Street, in front of over 2,000 people. The performance was a prelude to two upcoming concerts, "Uz rijeku za rijeke," which will take place in Luci Beograd to celebrate the 41st anniversary of his album "Bolero." Rundek expressed his admiration for the students' efforts and performed the song "Ay Carmela," sending a message of support to the student protesters. He emphasized that their protests and energy have made a significant impact, not only in Serbia but also throughout the region.
The concert in front of the European House was also part of the events marking European Month in Belgrade. Rundek last performed in Belgrade in March 2025, where he held three concerts at the MTS Arena, supporting student protests.
Rundek also voiced his support for the student movement today by performing "Ay Carmela" and praising the students for making a substantial difference through their protests and energy. The performance was a poignant gesture, highlighting the ongoing issues and the continued support from influential figures in the community.
