Igor Matanović played for Freiburg against Leipzig in the 34th round of the Bundesliga. His team won 4-1, with Matanović scoring in the 26th minute for a 2-0 lead. Freiburg is currently in seventh place, securing a spot in the Conference League for the next season but faces a tough challenge in the Europa League final against Aston Villa in Istanbul.
