Chelsea 0:1 Manchester City, Sembene's 5th Goal, Enzo's Miss
Chelsea and Manchester City played out a 0:1 result at Wembley in the FA Cup final. Antoine Sembene broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute.
The match began as expected, with the "Citizens" dominating possession and controlling the ball in significant periods. The Londoners played more cautiously, and their opponents began to pressurize them. In the seventh minute, an opportunity opened up for Marouane following a ricochet, but the Egyptian attempted a technical shot that did not challenge the goalkeeper.
Manchester City organized several attacks, but none were successful. Chelsea managed to reach the penalty area of their opponents twice. In the second instance, Joao Pedro made a good run but slipped and could not take the shot. Julian Alvarez did not take advantage of a good opportunity in front of the other goal. He intercepted the ball in a dangerous zone, but his pass was rather inaccurate. Shortly after, Alvarez sent the ball into the net following a cross from Mateus Nunez, but the Portuguese player was offside when entering the penalty area.
This match was a nail-biter! Sembene's goal was the only thing that separated these teams, but Chelsea really let one slip with that missed penalty. What do you think, was it a missed opportunity for Chelsea or did Manchester City deserve the win?
