Bulgaria secured its first-ever Eurovision victory at the 2026 contest with DARA’s powerful performance of "Bangaranga." Her explosive stage presence and captivating song earned the country 516 points, comfortably leading Israel in second place with 343 points and Romania in third with 296.

Just days before the grand final, DARA’s entry was ranked 14th by bookmakers. However, her commanding performance in the second semi-final boosted her chances and ultimately led to her victory.

Greece finished in tenth place with 220 points, thanks to Akyla’s performance of "Ferto." The Greek entry received strong applause from the crowd and secured a place in the top ten.

Australia finished fourth with 287 points, while Italy completed the top five with 281. Finland followed with 279 points, Denmark earned 243, Moldova collected 226, and Ukraine narrowly edged Greece with 221 points.

The public vote played a significant role in reshaping the leaderboard. Moldova and Romania surged thanks to strong public support, receiving 183 and 232 points respectively. Greece earned 147 points from viewers, significantly strengthening its overall standing. Bulgaria dominated the televote with 312 points from the public.

National juries also played a decisive role. Malta and Denmark awarded their maximum 12 points to Bulgaria, while Cyprus gave its top score to Greece. The Greek entry collected a total of 62 jury points.

The voting sequence maintained suspense throughout the evening as rankings shifted continuously. Bulgaria nevertheless remained firmly at the top and ultimately secured the biggest triumph of Eurovision .
