The 70th Eurovision Song Contest concluded with a grand final last night, with Bulgaria's representative Dara taking the top prize with the song "Bangaranga". Dara clinched the victory by receiving the most votes from both the expert jury and the public, amassing a total of 516 points.
Israel secured the second position with Noam Betan's "Mišel", garnering 343 points. Romania followed closely with Aleksandra Kapitanesku's "Davi me", earning 296 points. The United Kingdom, however, finished dead last with only one point from the jury, having received zero points from the public.
Despite being the pre-race favorites, the Finnish duo Linda Lampenius and Pit Parkkonen managed only a sixth-place finish. Australia, another strong contender, ended up in fourth place, ahead of Italy in fifth. Serbia, represented by the band "Lavina", finished 17th this year.
