The BJK Football Academy opened in the 15th of July Facilities, which is part of Sancaktepe Municipality. The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures including the Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, BJK President Serdal Adalı, and members of the BJK board. The opening also saw the presence of former BJK players and representatives of the club’s youth teams.

President Serdal Adalı emphasized the significance of the new facility for BJK and Turkish football. He stated, "We are delighted to open a center that will leave a significant mark on the future of BJK and Turkish football. BJK has established a club philosophy centered on organic development, and it has long been a pioneer in Turkish sports through its youth development. This project is a significant investment that will leave an indelible mark on both BJK and Turkish football. We are proud to invest the most significant amount in youth development in our glorious history."

Adalı encouraged supporters to show their support for the youth teams that will play their matches at this facility. "All age groups in our football youth system, as well as our women’s team, will play their matches here. With a stadium capacity of 2,500 and the inclusion of the Şehit Selim Topal Sports Complex, we are inviting our great BJK supporters to come and support the future of the club, the young players. The country’s virtuous, ethical, and successful athletes will be nurtured by the BJK education system, playing with the philosophy of 'play with honor, win with rights.' We will open this valuable facility not only to BJK but also to national teams. The A National Women's Football Team will be camping here in the last days of the month, and we look forward to welcoming them."

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak congratulated BJK on the opening, saying, "We know what this club has done for Turkish football. We congratulate this valuable club that has left deep marks in Turkish sports with its successes and athletes. This investment in BJK’s youth system is invaluable. We know BJK through its youth players nurtured by Serpil Hamdi Tüzün’s system. These players, like Metin, Ali, Feyyaz, Rıza, and Fikret, have been our idols."
