Gedson Fernandes, who scored Beşiktaş's first goal of the match and broke the deadlock, netted his third goal of the league season, matching his best-ever tally in the Süper Lig. The Portuguese striker, who also scored three goals in the Europa League qualifiers, had to leave the game due to injury after his goal against Kayserispor.

Meanwhile, Beşiktaş's Italian striker Ciro Immobile has increased his league goal tally to six. The experienced forward has scored ten goals in ten matches across all competitions.
