Football club Bayern Munich announced today that it has extended the contracts of goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich until June 30, 2027.
Neuer (40) has been with Bayern since 2011 and has won two Champions League titles and 13 Bundesliga championships with the club from Munich. He has played 597 matches.
"I've thought about this decision and I'm very happy now. Everything is perfect here, and with this team, we can defeat anyone. I enjoy coming to training every day and doing my best. We stay together as a goalkeeping team and try to help each other," Neuer said.
Ulreich (37) has been with Bayern since 2015, with a one-season break when he was at Hamburg during the 2020/21 season.
"I'm really excited, I feel great, and I'm still very interested in football. I just love Bayern. We have a fantastic team with a brilliant coaching staff. It's fun every day, not just in our goalkeeping team. It's great to see how everything is developing," Ulreich stated.
Bayern has already secured the German championship title and will play in the Cup final against Stuttgart on May 23.

This is fantastic news for Bayern fans, but do you think Neuer and Ulreich can maintain this level of performance for another five years? The competition in the Bundesliga is fierce!
