Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım made a significant statement at a meeting of accredited fan clubs. Yıldırım, who stated he would step down after securing a championship, said, "I will leave after winning the championship. I will definitely not continue for three more years. I never thought about being president, nor did I want to be a candidate. Last year, I encouraged young candidates by collecting signatures. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen last year. This year, I became a candidate because I see that a strong and experienced leadership with new young talent is needed. Our only goal is to be successful, and that success is a championship."
'Without a Championship, Fenerbahçe Will Disappear'
Yıldırım also warned about the dangers of not winning a championship this year, stating, "If we don’t win the championship this year, our future is at risk. I am saying this everywhere. We cannot lose our future. You will not find a Fenerbahçe supporter in 20 years if this happens. We will bring in good players and make the team champions. I will make announcements in February and call on everyone—members, fans, and clubs. There will be no divisions."
Yıldırım's promises are bold, but will his vision for Fenerbahçe's future truly materialize? Let's hope the club's performance speaks louder than words this season! What do you think, will Fenerbahçe rise to the challenge?
