Assistant coach of Red Star, Nenad Sakic, emphasized today before the match of the sixth round of the SuperLiga Serbia playoff that the "red and whites" must play with concentration and no relaxation against Radnik.
The Red Star players will host Radnik tomorrow at 6:30 PM in Surdulica.
"Although this match has no competitive significance, we must never forget the badge we wear. We must remain focused on the upcoming two matches. The Radnik team will surely be maximally motivated, wanting to defeat us, which is normal both in a sporting and human sense. They are celebrating 100 years of existence, and for them, this is a significant match. We cannot be relaxed; we must be motivated until the end of the championship, regardless of the lack of competitive significance. However, our badge obliges us to give our best," Sakic stated, as reported by the club's website.
He noted that players who have played less this season will get a chance against Radnik.
"We have many players who will not travel to Surdulica, so players who have played less will get a chance. This is an opportunity for them to prove themselves, justify the trust, and show that we can count on them in the next period. Mateus will not be guarding in Surdulica; he has guarded a lot this season. He has led us to the trophy and deserves a small break. Ivanic will probably not travel to Surdulica, so we will not see him on the field for that match. I hope he will be ready for the match against OFK Belgrade, but this does not depend as much on us as it does on Mirko and the medical team," Sakic said.
Sakic also wished the best to Jung Vu Seol, who has been granted permission by Red Star to join South Korea's national team preparations for the upcoming World Cup.
"I wish him the best, good health, and that he can take his team as far as possible," Sakic added.
Red Star has already secured the title, with 85 points on the SuperLiga table, while Radnik is in seventh place with 45 points.

This match is a big deal for Radnik, celebrating their 100th anniversary. Red Star needs to show respect and give it their all, or it could be a PR disaster. Can Red Star rise to the occasion, or will they let this one slip?
