Filip Hrgovic quickly overwhelmed Dave Allen, hammering the hometown hero to a rapid defeat inside three rounds at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster. Hrgovic dominated from the beginning, smashing long straight shots into Allen and hitting with powerful right crosses. Allen struggled to land any significant blows, becoming a standing target for Hrgovic's relentless assault.

In the second round, Allen attempted to block punches but was increasingly overwhelmed. By the third round, Hrgovic was launching relentless blows, and Allen's corner, Jamie Moore and Nigel Travis, pulled him out of the one-sided contest.

"If Jamie and Nige say enough's enough, enough's enough," Allen said. "Thank you for looking after me. These people have given me the career of a world champion. No excuses, I tried my heart out. Filip Hrgovic - too good for me."

On the undercard, Michael Gomez Jr. dominated Lee McGregor, dropping him in the fourth round and eventually forcing a stoppage in the sixth. Unbeaten lightweight champion Louie O'Doherty added the Commonwealth title to his collection with a unanimous decision over Ahmed Hatim.
