An Airbus A220-300 operated by Croatia Airlines, carrying 130 passengers and set to fly to Frankfurt, skidded off the runway at Split Airport in Croatia after the pilots aborted the takeoff for safety reasons. The airline has confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

“All passengers and crew members are safe, and no one was injured,” the company announced in a statement. The statement added that there were five crew members on board the aircraft. The passengers have disembarked and are at the airport terminal, according to the same sources, as reported by Agerpres.
